It's that time of year again. This year more than ever I am drawn to my collage a day project. It is cold AF this January and my heart goes out to those in need. This project, for those just tuning in, is my way of extending what I can. I feel the cold in every bone of my body, I feel the pain of suffering in every beat of my heart, the bad news, the let downs, the stress of making a living. Yet I still call myself blessed. I have heat and I have food. Many are not as lucky. Here is were I get creative. I will make a collage a day every day of January in honor of poverty awareness month and sell them here. The full price paid is paid forward. Would I rather be hiding under the covers? yes. Do I doubt each year I can find the time and inspiration? yes. Am I truly blown away from the generosity of others? omg...yes!
Todays collage was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest...it hit home.
