I have done something I really told myself I would never do. Draw a person from a photo...as in make it look like that person...let alone a family member.
Close to 2 years ago I fell in love with a series of random photos of Pajama Girl dancing around and posing with a beat up old wreath when we were trying to decorate a bit outside for the holidays. Through Shutterfly I made our holiday cards and later a canvas of our favorite picture of the year.

The eyes looked a little better than the "auto adjust" fixed them for that. I think even though I was looking at her picture from 2 years ago, it is almost as if I have drawn her closer to her age now without intention. Ok, now I have to double check the actual drawing because the eyes are bugging me and If my drawing is going to look like my sweetie...it is going to be perfect!
