Whew! What a day. Weather was rough and visibility going to Albany for my hair appointment was nil! Then...are you ready for this one. I was running a bit beehind due to the slow downs so I called my hair place and said I would bee running 5 minutes late and they said..."Karen, your name was erased out of the book". EXCUSE ME.... I was a little miffed to say the least and said well I am coming in and someone is at least going to trim me up a bit. The appointment was for my natural hi-lights and cut. By time I got thru the door they had my hairdresser of over 20 years on the phone and she was on her way in...no explanation as to why I was erased and ended up getting my hair done by the only person allowed to touch my hair. So needless to say had to postpone the tetanus shot until tomorrow...bummer,I really wanted a shot...ended up getting home to snow...yes the 4 letter word...already. So fingers crossed after my long day this post will make sense.
Ok, enough rambling and a more list vs my normal eloquent post, hee hee.
First lets talk about me...well, ok my new bag that features an art piece by Suzan Buckner. This bag is great! The quality, the image, everything about it. Go to CafePress and buy all your holiday presents there. Add your own images and presto, one stop shopping!
Thanks to Nancy Lefko at My Collage Art for spotting this from Diana Evans
~*~Patty at Magpie's Nest spotted this next fun "book thong" from Tabby at Crooked Heart Art. How can you not want to have something with a name like that! What a neat idea and looks like you can get one right at her blog
~*~ Patty is always spotting bees but this time she posted one herself in a pink post , can you find the bee there?
Last week I was tagged by Valaine from Silent Dreamer so I obliged but took these little honeys from her collage with me as a token, hee hee!
I just love her photos and composition of her art and collages! Thanks Valaine!
m.heart posted a surprise to start the week with. Looks like a slow motion shot, maybe he knew about the snow and was lingering as long as possible
m also sent me some great links. I am going to try and figure out how to trick "Bees without Borders" to come here and set me up. We don't have many borders around and could pass for another country. Just kidding... and if city bees can make honey, well country bees can make it sweeter with less stress.
My Buddy "Bee" from down under at Witchetty is entering her bee season as spring begins in Australia. Look at her first sighting of spring. A sock monkey bee from Etsy.
Leah from Creative Every Day sent me another Etsy find, this awesome soap, sounds as good as it looks too!
Ok, one more bit of honey coated sweetness from Jacquelyn at Ascender Rises Above. Posting at my own risk, just found this one a little while ago but the wonderful and talented Jacquelyn has let my post a picture before and this one is so apropos...but go here to see the rest! She really is the bee's knees!
That's a wrap!
Starting a challenge of my own. Looking for "great hives" since the months ahead will keep me buzzy in my hive. Lets see what you can come up with or seek out. Thank you all once again! And to all you blogs on break...happy break!
