Yip-bee yahoo it is Tuesday and time for another Bee Spotting post. (I always want to abbreviate and call it a "BS" post, however it is anything but "BS")
Have to start today with some wonderful bee art that was in the wrong folder last week and remembered later that day while in the shower! Still in need of organization...that will never change! Here is one of 4 great ATC-Bees from Gaye at The Paris Salon.
It is a good thing I did mess up last week beecause she added this great journal page right after my last post so I got a bonus picture!
Then this "Tiny Beekeeper" from Kris at Nostalgic collage (more adorable art there) was also in the wrong folder from last week. I am not making a folder of email links caller "not posted yet"...maybe that will help.
Nancy Lefko from My Collage Art spotted the below art from her friend Elizabeth at All Things Paper , another fabulous blog and amazing artist. I found this on her bio and wanted to share beecause she works for a pharmaceutical company and beeing a pharmacist myself I find it exciting she found an art career of such.
"Elizabeth Parsons is an award winning* professional designer. She has worked the last fifteen years as a
staff designer and department manager for the North American division of a pharmaceutical company.
Prior to these positions, Elizabeth worked as a graphic designer for six newspapers, designing advertising and logos. "
by the by...this adorable card is available at her etsy shop if I have not bought it yet!
Speaking of Etsy, Leah is the Queen Bee of Etsy finds and has sent me several links to great bee art, I am going to save a few for other post. This however is very fun from Leah's friend Jes in Maine and yes Leah it is available at her Etsy Shop. Jessica, your "junk revival" is absolutely wonderful and am sure I will own something from you soon!
~*~Patty at Magpie's Nest must bee about the sweetest flower out there beecause she is always attracting great bee art and sharing but this time I found another from her and yes it is a Queen Bee!
The "jackpot" photo was found by m.heart and was taken by Robin at Bird Tweets. I could just sit and stare at her photos all day long. Go there now for a true feast for the eyes, drenched with juicy color and priceless images of the world around us.
This buzy girl however captivates me! She is "dripping" with pollen and you must read what her husband has said about her and "her love of pollen" (still giggling)
m.heart also sent me this great informative video (pause playlist) from The Star Ledger . hmmm, do I still want to bee keep after watching this??? Great info but would I bee as calm as he?
Honey is only part of a bees job |
Thats a wrap for now. Please spot those bees and send to meez! The more we see the more there shall bee!
