I found a silly doodle I did a few weeks ago. I laughed when I saw the title of this chapter of the book I was ripping up. "Why is it not always winter?" So it seems as though "Mr Gordon" in the story must explain astronomy first...so let me finish with the answer. "It is not always winter because we have big ol' stars to wish on for spring to come soon." Now I know a lot of you have been witnessing some false hope of Spring but it is still February where I live and the snow may finally be down below the mailbox (the mailbox has been a little door in a snow wall), this is not the end of winter yet...but one can wish!
Speaking of wishes, here are 2 more pages from my inspiration notebook. They are like mini wish lists for my art time. Reminders of things I want to do...and if you notice I have done some including drawing on book pages.
In the coming days I will start showing you pages of the Rebecca Sower inspired journal I have been building pages for. I have found them to be very therapeutic and not a lot of thinking involved, just take all your pretty stuff and make pages and add to them and let yourself go. It is more of a "feeling" than it is a "thinking" project.
