I will never be able to express what an amazing experience it was all the way around.
to the finish...btw that's me and my time was 31:46...not to shabby for a girl in her 4th decade of life who half a year ago only ran if there was a sale on boots :)
the winner of my ki-ki bird painting was drawn by random number generator. I kept a list of donators as they donated in numerical order...the random number was '1' and the winner is a work buddy, Sue! She was very excited since she 'never wins anything'. As soon as I told her about running my first 5k she asked if it was for a cause, she was already reaching in her pocket for money and was really moved by learning about MPS
the largest win of the day is the amount of awareness that was raised and I hope that remains a constant as it snowballs into more races, fundraisers, research and cures!!!
Thank you all again and again and again!
Love you, Mean it!!!
