Somebody stop me...no don't. This is too cool not to do. I am now participating with Seth Aptar's winter project over at The Altered Page. If you are not familiar...or have not heard the latest buzz...you might want to start here with Seth's Disintegration Collaboration project and follow his links back. In a 'nut'-shell, bundle up lots of mixed media from your stash and stick it outside until May 1st then Seth will have more details. You at least have to go to his blog to see what these fun and fabulous artists from around the world are tossing out...hee hee.
Where to begin....did somebody say nuts?
Golly I have a lot of stuff, including in the bundle below is some book pages, papers, sheet music, wood, cheese cloth, glass photo plates, utensils, copper, brass door hinge and stuff I can't remember already. I tied it up with a lot more 'nuts' and copper wire and oh yeah some muslin fabric.

My bike basket was too big for just this one bundle so I scavenged up some metal stuff. My goal from this project is to at least get some rusty stuff. So...I had some old clock parts, the clock was on a hanger thing and that fit perfect into a veggie strainer...hmmm...looked sort of like a nose! Fast forward to PJ girl getting home and us going crazy with the metal. We tied on several pieces to make wind chimes on the bottom of the basket which now looks like this from a top view
There is an apple hanging on the "nose" filled with...well take a look
I added a secret sprinkle of magic hivernation pollen, shhhh!
It had to have only been in the teens (as in 13 degrees) out when I froze my fingers off went out to hang "it". The Pack helped but they have fur!
This lovely brave gal now needed a name so I went to a random name generator and ticked on Czech for nationality and "Transformer name" for the spirit of it all and a name was given.
Let me introduce to you Miss Darina Miroslava, ready and willing to disintegrate in the name of art!
(by the way the wind chimes sound lovely and I can see it all from a small floor window in my hive, take a peek)
